Accessibility Statement
The National Consortium for Languages Education (NCLE) is committed to equity of opportunity for all learners, including those with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. We are working to improve the digital accessibility of our learning resources and platforms, but recognise that some resources provided may not currently be accessible to all learners.
- In this E-Learning programme we provide a range of resources in Word, PowerPoint, and PDF format which are keyboard navigable accessible to you, using a screen reader.
- Alternative formats are available on demand using Blackboard Ally. Ally works to convert common file types to other formats automatically and in line with the original file. These alternatives include audio (mp3), PDF, ePub for eReaders, or Braille reader files.
- If you require an accessible version (e.g. an alternative format) of any of the resources used in this course that is not provided by Ally, please contact ioe.ncle@ucl.ac.uk.
When you contact the NCLE Professional Services Team, there is a process in place that will acknowledge your contact, tell you who is dealing with your request and give you a timescale by which you can expect a reply. We aim to respond to all contacts within 3 working days.
